Leased Lines
A leased line is a permanent link to the internet or to another office. Essentially this uses a dedicated fibre-optic link for 2Mb or 10Mb speeds, where the upload and download speeds are the same.
SDSL Broadband
Similar to a leased line, SDSL provides the same speed in both directions. It requires a dedicated analogue telephone line, which is usually installed for you by an engineer. Speeds are usually between 512k and 2Mb
ADSL Broadband
The most common method of connecting to the internet in the UK is ADSL. With speeds ranging from 2Mb to 8Mb download, or 256k to 812k upload, this is usually the best and most cost effective solution for businesses. ADSL shares a standard analogue telephone line, so it can be used at the same time as making a call.
ADSL2+ Broadband
The newest form of ADSL is just starting to become available amongst providers. Like ADSL the connection shares an analogue phone line, but the speeds are much faster. Our ADSL2+ service supplies up to 16Mb download, and 1Mb upload speed. Click here for further information
